This adapter is needed, if your Volkswagen Golf 6 is equipped with a Dynaudio sound system and you want to install an Alpine Style system. This adapter is also required, if your Audi (A4, A5, Q5) is equipped with an Audi sound system (Audi Sound 9VD or B&O 9VK) and you want to install the 2nd Generation Alpine Style System X702D-A4, X702D-A4R, X702D-A5 or X702D-Q5.
